Do you think it is possible that the people who experience supernatural experience are deep thinkers? With regards to a previous question, 'why do some people experience them, while others do not'? I experienced many unexplained events, and I knew from the first one, it was real and not a figment of my imagination. I never dismissed it. I tried (still try) to find the reason, why me.

strike that "here here" comment. I would'nt describe it as, "Deep Thinkers,,," sounds like an adjective...It's just "THERE!!!"
Permalink Reply by Jackie Anton on October 27, 2012 at 5:54am I agree..No, then again, it could happen to anyone. Well, maybe your right. Ahh, I don't dunno!
Deep thinkers i think are more open to stimuli (even strange ones) and are capable of accepting that it happened. Well, that's my take on it.
Permalink Reply by Jackie Anton on November 1, 2012 at 12:48pm That makes a lot of sense what Beverly said. I would like to add that deep thinkers look at all possibilities, but usually, come up with logical and feasible conclusions-including things outside our world.
After reading John's post, I think people who are world travellers could be targets of the ghostly world. If they easily adjust to diverse cultures, then it stands to reason, they would be empathetic towards the unknown and all it entails.
Amy's post makes sense to me. Very profound Amy. :)
I think spirits appear randomly to people. I don't think there is anyone in particular that they want to become obvious too.
Permalink Reply by Carol Farrell on November 10, 2012 at 10:53am I really do not think that individuals who see or experience paranormal events are necessarily deep thinkers, or how would you explain the fact that our pets sometimes have the experience also. My husband and I are both sensitive on different levels, we see the same events, but in different ways or forms (I'm speaking of spirits or ghosts) and some of our experiences have been confirmed by our pets. There have even been several occasions where our pets warned us of spirit activity before we sensed it. We're both practical people - I'm a retired government scientist of 35 years and he is an automotive engineer; Both careers deal with numbers, set principals and logic.
Always look for a reason! That's how we found the atom - but wait - I still haven't actually seen one of those yet, but I have seen a ghost. That's something to think about.
Wow! Carol you have given me a whole new perspective on this point. You're absolutely correct. Animals are aware of the supernatural before us. Very interesting....You gave me good points to ponder on. Thank you, Madame. :)
Permalink Reply by Carol Farrell on November 11, 2012 at 11:11am We must not forget the unabashed abilities of most children until they reach the age where they are told by well meaning adults that "there is no such thing as..." and it's unfortunate that they use Santa and the Easter Bunny as examples.
I have had several really good incidents involving pets and kids and spirits. Maybe the problem is that we really do think too hard and the answer is really quite simple - like in a magic trick.
