This happened to me when I was still 16. I was alone at home most of the time and I'm quite a jumpy person. I love the paranormal and stuff but I get scared so easily. However, one night was different.
I was alone that night and bored as hell. So I decided to watch the tube and make french fries. Our home was pretty small so it wasn't that spooky. When I was waiting for the oil on the pan to heat up I had a weird urge to look into the window which was just in front of the small stove I was using. The window doesn't have curtains It was just sealed of by screen to prevent bugs from coming in. I stared into the pitch black window and I saw something very odd.. It was shaped like a face of a person. It was close to the window but not close enough to be illuminated by the light from inside the kitchen.
I was in disbelief at first and as soon as I realized it was really there.. I just ran to my room. I was damn scared. There was no way someone could get in the laundry area because it was sealed off by a high wall. The only way to that part of the house is from inside the house.
Paranormal or not... It scared the hell out of me.

I would have left and gone to a friend's house. Then I would have brought her back so she could see it too.
How do you know it wasn't a real person? It was dark, and he was probably wearing black and maybe that's why you didn't see his body.

Score one for NRA! Good reason to have a weapon in your home. Sounds like a burglar to me too.
That would have scared anybody.
