I've been growing greatly concerned lately about bogeys or "boogeymen". Ive researched them for a while and understand what they do, they influence fear, especially during sleep. I haven't experienced anything like this in years, not even nightmares, but as of late I've had great difficulty sleeping due to the feeling of being watched, and when I do sleep although I don't remember my dreams, I wake up absolutely terrified and have no idea why. When I'm awake though, especially at night, I'll get sudden shivers and an unreal sense of pure dread. I try to ignore it, but I feel that only makes it worse and causes these bogeys/entities, whatever they me be to get upset. Does refusing to acknowledge the fear or refusing to be afraid make these negative entities hostile? What does one do if they become hostile? Some jackass already tried to tell me to hang a horse shoe on my wall and spread salt around but I don't buy into that stuff.

I wonder if we still feel the same way as kids when it comes to the boogeyman.
Kid aren't the only ones who fear the boogeyman!
That poor kid is right. The boogey man is not funny. I was terrorized by them as a kid. Actually, not much has changed since then. sigh....
One of my friends kids just experienced the boogey man. I had to laugh. He thought it was under his bed. Poor kid.
I just saw on TV now, a little boy talking about the boogey man under his bed. It seems that expression will be handed down through the ages.
Today....The tree plant to the right (slightly behind) started shaking. The entire tree. Last week, only one leaf was bouncing up and down. Today, the plant next to it. Does this mean anything? Obviously, it means something. Has this happened to anyone on this thread?
Today was strange. Strange is my usual. While I was on the puter something caught my eye. One of my plant leaves was bouncing up and down. Here we go again...... I went over to see what could be causing this, a spider, the AC, etc., I couldn't find anything. Something in my head is telling me that someone who passed is wanting me to remember him/her. I told you it was strange.
I remember the boogey man. Probably a story all little kids are told.
ha ha....I remember the boogey man. It was always in my closet. I know better now. Cheers!
When we were young, they were called bogey men or the bogey man. Now as we're older it makes sense who and what these things are. After reading the shadow people, I believe this is what we are finally talking about. Our parents thought we as children, were simply afraid of the dark along with scary movies we watched. It is more than that. The shadows lurk everywhere, haunt young and old alike. There is no escape from them.
