Our speakers this year are:
- Jeff Mudgett, great great grandson of H.H. Holmes for whom the term "serial killer" was first used. Jeff wrote the book Bloodstains, which chronicles his journey to know and understand his infamous relative and in the process experienced some eerie connections with the other side.
- Christopher Gibbons from Grand Rapids is a lawyer and author who bought his beautiful dream home only to discover that with it came an evil resident. In his book, Trespass, Chris shares how this entity attacked his family as well as his beliefs and how he was able to find a way to reclaim his life and home. His story will make you re-think your beliefs in hauntings and the spirits that cause them.
- Dale Kaczmarek is president of the Ghost Research Society, founder of Excursions Into The Unknown, Inc., and author of Windy City Ghosts, Windy City Ghosts II, and Field Guide to Spirit Photography, among others. In his many years of experience as a well-respected paranormal investigator, Dale has amassed an amazing collection of photographic, audio, and visual evidence of the existence of ghosts. He will be joining us to share some of that evidence. What you see may very well cause you to keep your night light on for some time to come!
- Bonnie Seigers is the real deal where mediums are concerned and is back by popular demand. Bonnie will be speaking about what to do if you find you have a ghost as a roommate. While many of us immediately assume that we are under attack, Bonnie will explain how you can find out who that spirit is and why they are there. She has a way of making the unknown less frightening by giving us the tools and understanding to deal with it.
- Kathy Conder, founder of Michigan Paranormal Encounters, has 20 years of experience studying the paranormal. Kathy believes that a good knowledge of history can make the difference between a great investigator and a mediocre one. She will be sharing historical attitudes toward death and dying in the last hundred years, including the practice of post-mortem photography. While some see this as a morbid topic, it is really a tribute of love and remembrance.
We will also be offering three late night investigations at three paranormally-active locations around Allegan including, The Regent Theater, The Griswold Auditorium, and The Allegan Lodge. These investigations will run consecutively from 9:00 P.M. until Midnight. Group sizes will be limited so don't wait long to reserve your spot of your choice.
